This property management company also has some transparency issues. First off, they don't show ALL pictures of the units they rent out and don't mention what ISN'T included so be sure to request an in-person tour. I ended up paying $1350/month for about 200 sq. ft. studio with no stainless steel kitchen sink, just the countertops, and had to wash my dishes in my bathroom sink until I requested a bigger unit. They tried offering me one for $50 more even though it was listed at the same price as this initial one. When I asked about the $50 increase, they backtracked and offered the unit to me at the original listing price as "courtesy". After I moved into this unit, they then relisted the first studio I was in for $100 less than what was paying for! Thankfully they never increase my rent and offered to keep it the same if I renewed my lease for another year but it's just not worth it when these units are so overpriced just to be poorly soundproofed and so small. Also, international students BEWARE: They will ask you to pay for the last three months of deposit upfront if you don't show them proof of income in Canada. They told me this over the phone to avoid leaving a paper trail. Be sure to get your communication with them in writing as much as possible. Keep in mind they listed the units in this building as "All-Inclusive" and yet, they don't allow pets even though that's technically void. It seems that they also cheap out on internet because the entire building kept having connectivity issues and tenants kept complaining; my laptop would even warn me that the Wi-Fi network uses an older security system that's being phased out. To try and fix this issue, the property management requested that tenants provide them with the MAC address of all our devices which I found invasive. Speaking of invasive, they make you fill out a rental application in which you have to include your exact date of birth which I don't think is legal. I'd say approach them with caution.
